You Managed To Get Everyone To Panama City Beach. Now You Have To Get Everyone To Dinner.

It starts with one innocent question: “Where should we eat tonight?” Then the fun begins.

Someone wants seafood. The kids want something else. Someone needs to get ready. Someone’s still at the beach.

You’ve got to find somewhere that can seat the whole group. Then coordinate cars. Find parking. Wait for the table. Keep the kids entertained.

And by the time everyone finally sits down… you need a vacation from your vacation.

What If Dinner Came To You Instead?

With ChefCations, your family can enjoy a chef-prepared meal without leaving your vacation rental.

No loading everyone into cars. No waiting around for a giant table. No crowded restaurant. No pressure to finish because another party is waiting.

Instead, everyone gets to relax, eat together and enjoy the place you’ve already paid to call home for the week.

That’s not skipping the restaurant experience. That’s upgrading it.

Don’t Take Our Word For It

See what other vacationing families say.

The gulf snapper was the best thing we ate all week, and my daughter’s gluten-free plate looked just as good as everyone else’s. You could tell the chef had actually shopped that morning.

Alicia S., Memphis, TN

Party of 10 • Family vacation • Santa Rosa Beach

Eighteen people, four families, one beach house. Coordinating that many people into cars for dinner was the part I was dreading. Our chef handled everything including the cleanup, and I got to sit down with my brothers instead of playing tour guide.

Greg M., Indianapolis, IN

Party of 18 • Family reunion • Panama City Beach

Three generations under one roof for my parents’ 50th. Getting sixteen people into a restaurant would have been a nightmare. Instead we all sat down together at the house, and my mom got to actually enjoy her own party.

Denise A., St. Louis, MO

Party of 16 • 50th anniversary • Miramar Beach

Common Questions From Vacationing Families

How large can our group be?

Most of our chefs cook for groups of roughly 6 to 24 guests, and every chef lists their own group size range on their profile. Some also add a second server for larger parties. If your group is bigger than that, tell us your headcount in your request and we’ll match you with a chef who can handle it.

Can the chef accommodate children?

Yes. Kids’ menus and kids’ portions are a normal part of what our chefs do — several include kids’ portions at no extra charge. Mention how many children are in your group when you plan the menu and your chef will build the meal around them.

What about allergies or dietary requirements?

Share any allergies and dietary needs during menu planning so they can be designed into the menu before your chef shops. Vegetarian, pescatarian, gluten-free, dairy-free, low-carb and nut-conscious menus are all commonly accommodated. One important note: cooking happens in your rental’s kitchen rather than a dedicated allergen-free facility, so cross-contact can’t be completely eliminated. Each chef’s full allergy policy is listed on their profile.

Does our vacation rental need a special kitchen?

No — a standard vacation rental kitchen is all that’s needed. Chefs typically ask for a working stove and oven, refrigerator space for prep, a dining table and seating, trash access and parking for one vehicle. A few grill-based experiences also want outdoor grill space, which is noted on those chefs’ profiles.

Who supplies the ingredients?

Your chef does. They bring fresh, locally sourced ingredients along with all cooking equipment and serving ware. You don’t need to shop, prep or supply anything beyond the kitchen itself.

What happens after dinner?

Setup and full cleanup are included. Your chef leaves the kitchen as they found it, so the evening keeps going for your family instead of ending in a sink full of dishes.

How far in advance should we book?

Most chefs ask for about 5 to 10 days’ notice, and each one lists their own minimum on their profile. Peak vacation weeks, holidays and large groups fill up sooner, so the earlier you request, the more chefs you’ll have to choose from.

You’re Already Together. Make Dinner The Easy Part.

Skip one night of restaurant reservations, traffic, parking, waiting and wrangling the whole crew. Stay in. Slow down. Enjoy great food around your own table. And make another memory together before the vacation is over.

Your ChefCation starts here.
